BUFFALO?In a bit of a gamble, Team Canada head coach Dave Cameron has decided to yank starting goalie Olivier Roy in favour of backup Mark Visentin for Sunday afternoon?s sudden-death quarterfinal game against Switzerland at the world junior championship.

Roy started three of the four games during the preliminary round for Canada, with Visentin, a first round Phoenix Coyotes draft pick, active only in the rout over Norway. But after Roy struggled in Friday night?s 6-5 shootout loss to Sweden, Cameron has decided to turn to Visentin, a native of Waterdown, Ont., who plays for the OHL?s Niagara Ice Dogs.

Canada is looking to get back to the winner?s circle after losing in the gold medal game at last year?s world junior championships to the United States, but now must win three games in four days to re-capture gold. It now looks like it will be up to Visentin the rest of the way between the pipes.

Buffalo Sabres first round pick Zack Kassian will also return to the Canadian lineup Sunday after serving a two-game suspension for a blatant head shot earlier in the tournament.
